Casualty has confirmed it's return date after a three-month break.
Charlie collapsed after being stabbed Charlie Fairhead’s life is hanging in the balance after being stabbed by a patient in Casualty. Beloved nurse Charlie was injured by a patient brought into the ED following a major road accident.
The man in question, played by Hollyoaks’ Angus Castle-Doughty, appeared friendly after the collision and even helped Teddy while he tended to other people. As more emergency services arrived, including Jacob and Jan , it became apparent Kyle was growing desperate to leave the crash site and ‘get to work’. As Kyle was held back by police, another officer checked his bag and found it packed full of money. In the hospital, with so many staff members focused on other patients, Kyle saw an opportunity and snuck out from his bay. Just as Charlie wandered down a corridor, he came across Kyle with a box of supplies stolen from the pharmacy. Kyle attempted to steal from the hospital The episode also saw the return of Zoe Hanna Charlie came very close to taking the drugs and reporting Kyle, but the man grabbed the box and stabbed the nurse in the stomach as he fled. Just as Charlie collapsed, Stevie and Faith came through the corridor and found their friend on the floor.
