The shop was broken into overnight earlier this week.

Saturday Cycles, in Wellington, was broken into overnight on Monday and the theft was discovered when owner Dave Taylor opened up on Tuesday morning.

The shop only opened early this year at a unit at Market Approach after previously trading from the market itself. Owner Dave, who was made redundant from his full time job in 2020 previously only opened on a Saturday hence the name.
