GSC Game World devs have announced sweeping fixes are coming to the game's A-Life AI system to make the world feel more alive.
After fifteen years of waiting, Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl has been released on PC and Xbox to mixed reviews. While we were very positive in our review, there are issues that many players are unsatisfied with, such as the implementation of the game’s A-Life AI systems. In response to fan distress, developer GSC Game World has confirmed that huge patches are on the way to address the current state of “A-Life 2.0” and make the recent sequel more realistic in the future.
0 has been implemented, but the system is far from perfect. Nevertheless, as GSC Game World explained in an open letter to fans, the system is just one area of improvements the team is dedicated to implementing. Talking to fans on Discord, multiple developers explained that there are “several known issues with A-Life 2.0” in the launch version of Stalker 2.
