Stanley Tucci has opened up on the importance of telling the story of a Jewish Nobel Prize winner who fled from the fascists at the start of World War II.The Devil Wears Prada actor, 63, has stepped away from the big screen for his latest role, this time lending his voice to an award-winning podcast called Pack One Bag.
'Given the circumstances in today's world, you can't help but be interested in the parallels of that time and our time. It's an incredible story, but it's something that's happening today. It's happening as we speak all over the world to literally millions of people,' Tucci said of the podcast and relating it back to crises such as Israel's military actions in Gaza, the civil war in Sudan and the ongoing crisis in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
