Star Trek boss gives update on status of Michelle Yeoh's Discovery spin-off
The highly-anticipated series is set to focus on Starfleet's Section 31, which recruited Georgiou's mirror universe alternative Emperor Georgiou.
Speaking about the project in the past, showrunner Alex Kurtzman revealed that the idea came from Yeoh herself.However, Kurtzman also stressed that the spin-off would offer something different to the other"[It's important] that it doesn’t feel like you’re getting the same thing from each show. In that sense, each show has its own identity," he added.
