Can the Jedi finally overcome the Nameless?
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Summary Star Wars' ongoing High Republic series is potentially teasing a major evolution for the Jedi with the hint that the power of the Nameless can be overcome. Mysterious predators who prey on Force-sensitives by draining their life force, the Shrii Ka Rai aka Nameless have become a significant threat to the Jedi Order during the High Republic Era as several are under the control of the Nihil.
Despite the baron having Nameless creatures at his disposal which he's upgraded with cybernetics, Keeve manages to decapitate one of the Nameless with a well-placed lightsaber swing. This is quite the feat for a Force-sensitive Jedi, especially considering the typical paralysis the Nameless can induce upon even the strongest Jedi, draining their life force until they're nothing more than a calcified, crumbling husk.
Is Keeve Trennis Overcoming The Power of The Nameless? She May Be Becoming Immune Unwilling to let the quasi-reformed Lourna Dee be killed by one of the baron's Nameless, Keeve somehow found it within herself to resist the Nameless' paralytic powers that can lead to dark, fear-filled hallucinations. While she was still affected by the creature to a degree, the fact that Keeve was still able to fight back is quite remarkable.
