Starbucks has submitted an application for planning permission to install illuminated signage at 120 Grange Road in Battlefield, Glasgow, as part of a project to build 400 flats on the former Victoria Infirmary site.
An application for planning consent has been submitted by Starbucks Coffee Co to Glasgow City Council for permission to install illuminated signage at 120 Grange Road in Battlefield . The proposed new Starbucks will be located near the M&S Food and across from the Battlefield Rest restaurant. The council previously granted permission for extended opening hours, allowing the cafe to operate from 7 am to 10 pm daily.
A 'shop fit out' warrant was also granted earlier this year to transform the site into a coffee shop as part of a larger project to build 400 flats on the former Victoria Infirmary site, which closed in 2015. The council will review the plans in the coming weeks
