‘Starry-eyed child’ Greta Thunberg mocked for ‘simplistic’ climate change argument

GRETA Thunberg’s speech to the UN has been mocked as “simplistic” by an Instagram blogger who referred to her as a “starry-eyed child”.

Singaporean blogger Xiaxue - whose real name is Cheng Wendy - launched an attack on the Swedish schoolgirl and branded climate activists “starry-eyed idiots”. Xiaxue, 35, attacked Ms Thunberg after she delivered a passionate speech at the UN headquarters in New York.
