We had a good year to start with; you have to you have to have a good season to put yourself in a place to get where we’re at.
“In the end, we just thought that maybe Wyatt was just a little bit further advanced. And that it was probably better for Logan to go back and play another year in junior, which he did. Once again, he played for Canada World Juniors, won gold, had a great year in junior, set a whole bunch of records. So we knew he was knocking on the door when it came time for camp, but our team was pretty stacked and I wanted to make sure he was playing lots.
Has there been anything that has surprised you with this team, how they’ve played in the playoffs down the stretch, since you made the Tanev trade?“There’s just a real calmness to our team. When I talked to the team just before the playoffs — and it was a compliment to them — I told them, ‘Guys, every night when we’re playing a game, I feel like we;ve got a chance to win.’ And that doesn’t mean you’re gonna win every night.
