The charity has been supporting people in hardship across the region for three decades.

Foodbank charity Start Up Stirling is inviting local communities to join them in June and July to say ‘Hello Summer’.

The campaign starts a little earlier this year, as they are inviting their friends in the community to support them with crisis food donations before children and young people go on their summer holidays, so they can provide extra food support throughout their break. “Our Hello Summer! Campaign is a great time for people in our communities to engage with us, by donating food, funds or school bags to help us to continue to provide support for people living in hardship when they need it most.

Any donation, large or small, makes a big difference to the people that need support from the charity’s Crisis Food service. Fundraising events over the summer include Tesco Stirling’s food donation days on June 27-28 from 10am-4pm. Start Up is also hosting two special events to mark their 30th anniversary - a birthday bash on Friday, August 30 and a Jacobites Concert on Thursday, September 12.
