Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry sends a heartfelt goodbye message to former teammate and fellow champion Klay Thompson.
The Golden State Warriors era, as we've come to know it, has come to an end. Four-time NBA champion and sharpshooter Klay Thompson will join the Dallas Mavericks via sign and trade after 13 incredible seasons with the Warriors. Though the deal has not been official yet, Thompson will head to Texas after spending his entire NBA career in Golden State.
Along with their third running mate, Draymond Green, they built one of the most successful dynasties of the current era. Together, these three lead the Warriors to four NBA championships in the eight seasons from 2015 to 2022. On top of that, they changed the way the game is played as we know it today. They broke narratives that people thought would never be broken. They are arguably the greatest duo in the history of the game and, without a doubt, the greatest shooting duo we will ever see.
