Jessica appears to have broken the rules by filming herself inside the prison
Stephen Bear's fiancée Jessica Smith appeared to break visiting rules as she recorded herself for TikTok, visiting him in prison.
And this week, his partner Jessica filmed herself at HMP Chelmsford as she visited him for the first time since he was sentenced.Jessica uploaded footage on her TikTok page and wrote: "Come with me on a visit to see my boyfriend." The short clip was captioned: "So good to see him but sad because I can't see him for another two weeks."The 1952 Prison Act states: "[It is an offence relating to prison security to] take a photograph, or make a sound-recording, inside a prison or transmits, or causes to be transmitted, any image from inside a prison by electronic communications for simultaneous reception outside the prison.
Prosecutor Hannah von Dadelszen said that he showed a “complete lack of remorse” for his actions. She went on to say that he never took responsibility for his abusive behaviour and even blamed his Love Island star victim.
