The SNP Westminster leader said Hoyle's decision was 'outrageously bad' and 'unforgiveable'.
Stephen Flynn slammed House of Commons speaker Lindsay Hoyle after he did not allow Diane Abbott to speak at Prime Minister's Questions.Abbott, who was Britain's first black female MP, was the main subject of PMQs on Wednesday after a Tory donor made racist comments about her.
Flynn recently called for Hoyle to stand down because he broke convention to allow a Labour amendment on an SNP opposition day. Flynn told LBC: "I cannot fathom why the Speaker of the House of Commons did not allow Diane Abbott to use her own voice on a matter which is intrinsically linked to her as a person. It was an absurd decision.
"We were all just waiting for it to happen and then The Speaker decided that she's not going to have a voice on this issue.
