Today is Stephen Lawrence Day.
Reliving her son’s murder each year, the Baroness has fought the system tooth and nail to make sure her son did not die in vain. She spoke for legions of Black parents and families who had lost children to racism and bigotry. Too often, minorities in this country are restricted from accessing their truest potential because of antiquated barriers to entry and the systems that enforce them.
