Stevie Lennon says Stereofunk Festival is in 'chaos' after the promotional page on Facebook was hacked and cloned repeatedly without his knowledge. The festival boss now worries people could be scared to buy tickets for the event.
A Lanarkshire festival boss has been forced to stop promoting his event after social media bots 'shut down' his page.

There’s a lot of money on the line as well as not only my livelihood but the jobs of the team around me as well.
Instead, she was able to get him in touch with a direct contact there and Stevie was informed about the cloned pages and that he would have a response within 48 hours – and then silence. “I just hope someone sees sense and gets back to us – it’s obvious which one is the real Stereofunk page, they can see it behind the scenes.”
“I post all the time saying this – I don’t run competitions and will never contact anyone offering a prize or anything else. If this happens it’s a scam – report it!”
