Shrewsbury Town boss Steve Cotterill is set to leave the club, the Shropshire Star understands.
Reports surfaced online on Thursday afternoon that the boss is set to be sacked by Salop, but the Shropshire Star understands his departure from the club will be by mutual consent.
It has been 25 days since Cotterill's emotional press conference after the game against Lincoln where he said he was uncertain about what the future holds for him. Negotiations are understood to be ongoing between Cotterill's representatives and the club - but the experienced manager is now expected to leave Town.
