Andy Robertson was forced off with a shoulder injury during the international break leaving Liverpool with new defensive problems
Steve Nicol has raised concerns over Liverpool's defensive options with Kostas Tsimikas set to deputise for Andy Robertson.
Tsimikas could be poised for an extended run in the starting 11 for the first time in his Liverpool career after failing to usurp the former Hull City defender. The Greek international has shown his capabilities from full-back this week after notching an assist in Greece's win over the Republic of Ireland.
However, former Liverpool defender Nicol isn't convinced by Tsimikas' defence capability and has raised concerns with the Anfield "Achilles heel". "But one of the better defenders, in amongst an Achilles heel, is Robertson. He has been as consistent as anybody at the back four.
