The Jambos need to overcome a 1-0 defeat at Tynecastle next week if they want to reach the Europa League proper
Disappointed Steven Naismith refused to blame Daniel Oyegoke and insisted Hearts can still save their Europa League dream at Tynecastle.
Hearts turned their European tie around against Rosenborg at home last season and is looking for something similar again. Naismith stated: “Inevitably it will be a different tie at Tynie like Rosenborg. We'll have 18,000 fans, the atmosphere will be electric and we will have the comfort of our home stadium.
The Hearts head coach said: "Craig was always going to start. We found out Zander had a back spasm today. It's another record Craig has managed to get. He showed his quality in particular with one of the saves tonight. It's a disappointing result but a good night for Craig.” Hearts came under some criticism for running down the clock but Naismith defended his players. He continued: "Both teams' players at times went down to try and get a foul. Both teams got some and didn't get some. Its European football over two legs. Tactics from both teams were very similar.”
