Actor Steven Yeun says Bong Joon-ho's Mickey 17 and also stars Robert Pattinson, which releases in 2025, will be full of surprises.
, Yeun was asked if he could tease anything about the character he’s playing in Mickey 17, which releases in 2025.
“I probably can’t, but I will say, experientially, Director Bong is one of my favorite humans and one of my favorite artists,” Yeun said. “I know this, I don’t expect it, but I know that each time working with him is gonna be fantastic and really wonderful.
The novel, according to the synopsis, follows “a disposable employee on a human expedition sent to colonize the ice world Niflheim. Whenever there’s a mission that’s too dangerous — even suicidal — the crew turns to Mickey. After one iteration dies, a new body is regenerated with most of his memories intact. After six deaths, Mickey7 understands the terms of his deal … and why it was the only colonial position unfilled when he took it.
