The former Police singer gave fans a health update on his Instagram amid his latest cancellation

The former Police frontman Sting has had to postpone two of his concerts and cancel an upcoming awards ceremony after a doctor advised him due to ill health.

Other concerts this month have also been postponed, meaning shows in Phoenix, Arizona, and Wheatland, California will no longer be happening on the original dates promised. "Fans should retain their tickets for the postponed shows, as they will be honoured on the new dates. Sting sincerely apologises for any inconvenience and extends his gratitude to the fans for their understanding."

The singer has also previously credited yoga and "discipline" as the reasons he stays healthy, with a strict fitness regime that he still follows to this day. As reported by the Mirror, Sting and his wife Trudie Styler moved to a home in Wiltshire in 1991 in order to adopt a self-sufficient diet. This means that the couple even grow their own organic vegetables in their garden.
