The Ladies of the Rock foodbank has been a key resource since opening during Covid.
A community foodbank has been given a reprieve following fears it would have to close over council charges for use of their base.
It has been a popular resource based out of Bannockburn Community Centre - but in a bombshell announcement on social media, the charity said it was set to discontinue the service on October 25 due to the twin impact of rising food costs and a charge for the use of the centre. “Thank you to all our dedicated volunteers who have worked so hard to keep things running.
