Start Up Stirling has launched its Christmas Appeal 2023 - with hopes that it will help towards their 2024 fundraising target of £340,000.
The foodbank charity’s seasonal drive highlights some of the ways people can help them to fund their services and the practical support that they provide for people living in hardship across the Stirling Council area at Christmas and throughout the year.
“We would appreciate any support that people in our communities throughout the Stirling Council area can give, either by promoting the appeal through Facebook, fundraising for us, making a food or financial donation, or volunteering.”Each of the items on the 24 days on the Advent Calendar and Secret Santa list helps Start Up to collect the essential food for their Crisis Food Service parcels throughout the cold winter months.
Santa’s Shopping List meanwhile highlights some of the items that are most needed for the Crisis Food Service this winter. The list is available on the website or at the office.
