Buying up big on a 300-pack of batteries could save you money - and a lot of heartache - down the track.
It might still be summer, but we're hurtling towards Christmas - and anything you can do now to be prepared will be a massive timesaver down the line. Take something as simple as batteries - we've all been there, unboxing a new device that we've been waiting ages to buy, or watching as one of your kids unwraps a present they've been excited about for months, only to discover that it doesn't come with any batteries.
With a five-year shelf life, this means that you'll have enough batteries to power an armada of remotes, clocks, hand fans, toys and more. Anything that fits this size will work. If you don't need quite that many, or you prefer AA batteries, smaller packs and different sizes are available, each with some level of discount right now - but if you pick up 300, you'll almost definitely be sorted come Christmas time.
One customer wrote: "Remarkably straightforward, but essential. These batteries have been a solid companion in our household. I primarily use them for our TV remote, wireless mouse, and the little one's toys. Despite some saying they don't hold as much charge as premium brands, I've found they power our devices without much fuss."
Some people have griped about the batteries, though. One user wrote: "These always let me down at the critical moment and often don't recharge" - although it's important to note that these aren't rechargeable batteries. Another added: "They don't last very long but for the price they do a quick job."
