Over 50 of the UK's best street artists will descend on the town to create a vast outdoor gallery
A free family friendly event will be returning to Greater Manchester this September. The Stockport Paint Jam will see the town centre transformed into a vibrant street art playground with over 50 of the UK's best artists in action.
Other highlights include inclusive street art workshops and regular free street-art walking tours. Inspired Stockport residents will have the opportunity to learn how to stencil with spray paints and channel their inner Banksy. “This project is about knitting together, building on, and extending the Creative Quarter linking Canal Street to Hopes Carr,” says John Macaulay, co-founder of GRIT Studios and Art Battle Manchester.
