Stoke City pair Ryan Mmaee and Luke McNally are targeting back-to-back wins in the Potteries as Leeds United come to visit this week, after most recently seeing off promotion-chasing Sunderland at home.
The Potters had lost three home games in-a-row before Tony Mowbray’s Black Cats arrived at the Bet365 Stadium last Saturday. Goals from Mmaee and McNally saw off the north east club, who replied with a Jack Clarke goal of their own, however that was not enough to take anything from the game.
“We need to keep going like that, keep the level high,” Mmaee said following the victory over Sunderland. McNally, meanwhile, believes the momentum Stoke have generated following their Black Cats triumph will stand them in good stead for the arrival of Farke’s young side. 'I think you saw glimpses of quality but in the second-half we showed what a fighting team we can be and we just need to show that all the time now.
