Manchester City beat Wolverhampton Wanderers with the last chance of the game through John Stones' header but there has been a widespread debate as to whether or not it should have been given
Former Manchester City defender Micah Richards has hit back at a fan page which claimed the club's ambassador thought John Stones ' late winner against Wolverhampton Wanderers should not have stood.
As Richards discussed with fellow pundits Jamie Carragher and Daniel Sturridge the decision, fan page City Chiefs tweeted: "Micah Richards says that Stones goal shouldn't have been allowed. He will say anything to keep that job at Sky Sports. He is a fool."READ MORE: City injury news and return dates
"You explained it really well Kels . The only thing I would say from Wolves' point of view, you have said that Jose Sa is set there but I don't know if he is set but when he heads it, he is not interfering so goal given." "I’m still not… but when Stones heads the ball, there’s no question Silva’s not interfering. Correct decision to give the goal."
