The most powerful winds are expected to hit the Irish Sea coasts, with up to 75mph on higher grounds and in exposed coastal areas.
Ahead of potentially disruptive winds and rain, residential property company Barratt Developments has shared a few ways you can prepare your home. "We are likely to potentially see some damaging winds, the possibility of some brief power interruptions, particularly in Irish Sea coastal areas," Mr Morgan said.
"With high spring tides, some coastal areas are at risk of flooding and some ferry services may be disrupted."The speeds are expected to impact coasts and headlands in southwestern parts of Scotland, eastern parts of Northern Ireland, Cumbria, the Isle of Man and far western Wales.There will be a scattering of blustery showers this evening, concentrated in the North.
Once Storm Agnes is out of the way, there will be a return to"sunny spells and showers", according to the Met Office."By the end of Friday, high pressure builds in from the south and that will lead to a fine start for most of us on Saturday," meteorologist Aidan McGivern said.
