Manchester Airport has issued a warning to passengers ahead of Storm Bert's arrival. Brits are braced for severe weather in the coming days, including in Greater Manchester.
Some strong winds are also forecast in the coming days. With snowfall expected overnight, Manchester Airport is urging passengers to check the latest flight information before they travel on Friday. A spokesperson for Manchester Airport said: "There's a possibility of snow overnight and some icy conditions, so if you're due to fly from Manchester Airport, make sure you check your travel route to the airport, allow extra time for your journey and keep an eye out for updates from your airline.
