Flood warnings that urge people to 'act now' are in place across Shropshire and Mid Wales.
Storm Darragh: 'Act now' flood warnings in place across Mid Wales and Shropshire as river levels rise, the Showground and The Quarry, the Severn at Wribbenhall, Bewdley, the River Teme at Stanford Bridge, close to the border, the River Vyrnwy at Maesbrook, and the River Vyrnwy at Melverley., Natural Resources Wales has issued 14 flood warnings covering a large area including Newtown, Welshpool and Buttington where some properties are expected to flood.
A spokesperson for NRW said: “The A483 at the The Moors Straight, Welshpool and minor roads in the area could be affected by flooding. “The B4381 at Lower Leighton, the A458 at Buttington Bridge, the A483 at the Moors Straight and minor roads in the area could be affected by flooding.
