Scotland has been issued a yellow weather warning as Storm Debi hits the UK, bringing heavy rain and severe gale-force winds.
Rain during Sunday night is forecast to become more persistent on Monday, with heavy downpours throughout the day as Storm Debi takes hold. As much as 30-50mm of rain could fall fairly widely across parts of Scotland in around 12 hours, the Met Office warns. He said: “There will be some heavy rainfall, potential for flying debris, potential for disruption to travel and infrastructure in places.”
