The A19 TeesFlyover in North Yorkshire/County Durham is closed to high-sided and vulnerable vehicles in both directions between the A1046 and the A66 near Stockton-on-Tees due to strong winds. The Irish meteorological service, Met Eireann, recorded a wind speed of 114 mph brought by Storm Eowyn in Ireland, the fastest since records began. This resulted in the cancellation of several flights from Dublin Airport, including the 6am Dublin flight, the 8.30am to Belfast, the 8.45am to Dublin, and the noon flight to Belfast. Thousands of homes in Ireland are reportedly without power.
