The Emirates Airbus A380 had been due to land at Glasgow Airport at around 12.45pm today (April 6) after leaving the United Arab Emirates at around 8.30am local time.
A Dubai to Glasgow flight has been forced to divert to London after two failed attempts to land this afternoon.
However, the EK27 flight was forced to divert to London Gatwick following two failed landings caused by strong winds caused by Storm Kathleen. According to RadarBox, it landed at around 2.50pm.
The warning is in place from 8am until 10pm this evening, as residents are warned of possible travel disruption, power cuts and damage to buildings.
