The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for Merseyside as Storm Lilian is expected to hit the region. The forecaster has warned there could be a 'danger to life' on Friday as winds of up to 60mph winds hit the UK. The yellow weather warning for wind has been issued for Merseyside and other parts of the country from 5am until 11am on Friday, August 23.
' The forecast for Liverpool shows rain in the early hours of Friday with winds of up to 57mph. A spokesperson for Met Office said: 'An area of strong winds associated with Storm Lilian is expected to move east across northern England during Friday morning.
