STORMZY has launched a Twitter tirade against the media after it was reported he said Britain was "definitely 100% racist".
When the Heavy Is The Head rapper was asked if the UK was a racist country by an Italian newspaper, he reportedly replied: “Definitely, 100%. It's like, 'oh no, we're not racist', but there's a lot of racism in the country.”hit out ITV after it reported his comments with the headline "Rapper Stormzy says UK is '100 per cent' racist".
Italian newspaper La Repubblica reported Stormzy as saying: “The difficult thing with the UK is, as you said, in Italy it's a clear problem, whereas trying to explain that Britain is a racist country is the most difficult thing ever. “The tweet regarding the quotes was also later removed.
