Butch Wilmore contacted Johnson Space Center in Houston on Saturday to share his concerns days before Boeing's Starliner is set to undock and return to Earth unmanned.
One of the stranded NASA astronauts aboard the International Space Station has reported a 'strange noise' coming from Boeing's Starliner aircraft.
After a failed first attempt, mission control responded: 'Butch, that one came through. It was kind of like a pulsating noise, almost like a sonar ping'. They asked one more time if there was any other noise and confirmed that it was coming from the Starliner's speaker.
