Streatham terrorist's 'disgusted' mum thought he was wrongly accused and refused to believe extremist views
CRAZED Streatham jihadi Sudesh Amman phoned his mum just hours before the bloody knife rampage asking her to bring him some mutton biryani.
Amman, who previously lived with his mum and five younger brothers in Harrow, North West London, was released just days before unleashing the grisly attack.her son was radicalised after watching Islamic material online, with his extremist views growing while in Belmarsh Prison. A new picture was today released of wide-eyed Amman munching on pasta as an innocent child who dreamed of becoming a biomedical scientist.Haleem is now understood to be working to get her son's body from police so she can bury him after he was shot dead by armed cops.: "Haleema is disgusted by what he has done and his beliefs, but she is a mother and has lost a son so she is very upset and sad.
And Jignesh Khimani, 20, who went to Park High School in Stanmore with Amman told how the terrorist was a "normal boy" who "kept himself to himself"."The family all acted normal. I would see the brothers out and about but we never saw his dad."Questions are now mounting over why Amman had been freed from prison just days ago - despite fears he still held radical views.
He also possessed bomb-making manuals and fantasised about carrying out acid attacks, his trial was told.Alexis Boon, then head of the Metropolitan Police Counter Terrorism Command, said at the time of his conviction that Amman had a “fierce interest in violence and martyrdom,He explained: “His fascination with dying in the name of terrorism was clear in a notepad we recovered from his home.
