A university has taken on five 'canine teaching assistants' to tackle student anxiety.
The university is using the dogs as a way of reducing anxiety among students
The five labradors have become"canine teaching assistants" and will work on improving students' wellbeing. "You can literally feel stress levels reducing," said Fiona Suthers, head of clinical skills at the university."It's amazing and we're very keen to continue and expand what we're doing."When we initially introduced the scheme, I don't think any of us thought it would be so successful.
