Ugo Monye is latest StrictlyComeDancing star
The line-up for this year's Strictly Come Dancing is being announced thick and fast with Judi Love and Ugo Monye becoming the latest names announced for the hit BBC show.
A whole host of stars from the worlds of music, acting, presenting and beyond will be heading to the ballroom this year. Ugo Monye Ugo Monye is swapping the pitch for the dance floor as he is announced as the 15th and final contestant for Strictly Come Dancing. Revealing the big news on Loose Women, the show's panellist said: "I think I am still in shock that I will be part of this amazing show.
Speaking on BBC Newsbeat, Adam said: "I've swam for seven years and I've gone through the constant cycle of championship, go back to training, back to the drawing board, another championship, another championship. I've broken world records but I've never truly been uncomfortable, this will be very interesting, I'll be very uncomfortable.
The actress, who plays Frankie Lewis on the BBC One soap, is the show's first-ever deaf contestant and will be swapping Albert Square for the dance floor as she joins a start-studded line-up. Greg Wise The Crown actor Greg Wise became the tenth name to sign up for the BBC show, being unveiled on This Morning.
"I will channel her, as her bro can't dance – but I'm thrilled to be dipping my toes, knees, hips and arms into this wonderful world, and hope to make her proud, and obviously make her laugh..." Before signing off, Kitchen Nightmares host Gordon issued his word of warning, telling her: "Don't date those dancers!"
The actress, who plays Sinead Tinker on the popular soap opera, expressed how excited and nervous she is to be taking on the dance floor with her talented co-stars. Speaking to Kate Garraway and Ben Shephard as she was unveiled on Good Morning Britain, she said: "My whole life, from a tiny little girl, you watch it every Saturday... it just looks like the most amazing experience, but it always felt like a pipe dream."
The former Blue Peter and Newsround presenter says: "I am BUZZING to be a part of Strictly Come Dancing 2021. AJ Odudu Apocalypse Wow presenter AJ Odudu was the third name announced for the line-up during The One Show on 4 August. Robert Webb Comedian Robert Webb was the second name announced for the show after undergoing life-saving heart surgery in 2019.
