Amanda Abbington has reportedly quit Strictly Strictly Come Dancing star Amanda Abbington has quit the series due to ‘setbacks,’ according to reports. The Sherlock actress, 49, who is partnered with professional dancer Giovanni Pernice, was forced to miss Saturday’s live show ‘due to medical reasons’. While Amanda is yet to directly comment on the reason didn’t taking part, on Saturday morning she shared a post to social media about mental health.
This comes after Amanda rubbished claims she was quitting the show after an alleged fall-out with partner Giovanni.
