Strictly Come Dancing bosses are reportedly 'struggling' to sign up female celebrities to take part in the upcoming series of the show amid the drama surrounding Giovanni Pernice .
Insiders from the show have claimed that the dispute has already had a ripple effect on preparations for this year's series as they struggle to sign up female celebrities due to the allegations. "Strictly bosses have been left reeling by the backlash against Giovanni. One problem it has caused is that the booking team are struggling to recruit female celebrities for 2024," a source told The Mirror.
Following the pairing, Strictly is facing the most severe crisis in its 20-year history as lawyers scrutinise Giovanni's alleged behaviour in the training room, reports the Mirror. Last week, Giovanni addressed the accusations, stating: "I reject any suggestion of abusive or threatening behaviour, and I look forward to clearing my name."
