bosses are apparently concerned that the hot studio the show uses to film could be a risk for spreading coronavirus.
The BBC’s flagship reality show is returning later this year for a reduced series, where protocols have been put in place to ensure the safety of everyone both on and off set. Now, there appears to be more health and safety concerns over the studio itself, namely that if the hot weather continues, it could become a risk of further spreading Covid-19.: ‘Producers and crew are jumping through all sorts of hoops to get the show on the air for viewers.‘The latest hurdle is keeping it cool enough. The theory is that the more the dancers and celebs sweat, the greater the risk of Covid infection potentially.
They continued: ‘So they’re trying to keep it cool, which is very difficult under the red-hot studio lights.’The BBC declined to comment when approached byBosses are already hard at work to ensure the competition – which will launch later this year and skip its annual September start date – is as safe as possible given the current climate.It’s also been reported that for the new series,
