The first live show of Strictly Come Dancing saw a number of celebrities in the audience, including Love Island's Zara McDermott. Alongside the dazzling performances from the new couples, viewers were excited to see familiar faces cheering them on.
Strictly Come Dancing fans were quick to light up social media when they spotted a celeb in the audience during the first live show , on Saturday 21 September. Alongside the stars dazzling on the dancefloor, there were plenty of famous faces cheering them on, including Gavin and Stacey star, Joanna Page. The beloved dance extravaganza went live for the first time with all 15 new Strictly pairs strutting their stuff for the judges.
Judge Anton Du Beke was full of praise, describing the performance as "uplifting" and confessing he felt "elated". Their routine earned them 18 points from the panel, reports the Manchester Evening News. Post-dance, Nick was surprised with a birthday cake by pro dancer Carlos Gu, who joined in the fun wearing a hi-vis and builder's hat.
