Strictly Come Dancing professional Giovanni Pernice has become a much-loved staple in the dancing competition, waltzing and jiving his way to second place an impressive three times.

The following year, the dancer dusted his dancing shows off and returned to the show. He was partnered with Laura Whitmore but was eliminated after a dance-off with Ore Oduba and Joanne Clifton, in week 7. Giovanni continued to wow the judges the following year, reaching the semi-final of the season alongside partner Ranvir Singh, before being eliminated in a dance-off with Jamie Laing and Karen Hauer.
