Jody Cundy was rushed to hospital with an infection this week Strictly Come Dancing star Jody Cundy’s future on the show has been revealed. The paralympian, 44, who is paired with 2022 champion Jowita Przystal, was rushed to hospital earlier this week, saying it had been a ‘week of highs and lows’. The infection meant he hadn’t been able to train in the lead-up to Movie Week, as he wasn’t able to put on his prosthetic leg.
’ However, in an It Takes Two update on Friday, it was revealed Jody had been able to take to the Strictly ballroom to rehearse. He was seen dancing the American Smooth in a rehearsal, as Janette celebrated: ‘They danced today!’ Strictly bosses have now confirmed that there are ‘contingencies in place’ if Jody is unable to dance. Jody will hopefully be taking to the floor for an American Smooth tonight In a statement to Metro.co.
