The BBC is apparently looking to poach This Morning's Holly Willoughby from ITV as they hope to sign her up for the next series of popular Saturday night show Strictly Come Dancing
BBC bosses are hoping to poach Holly Willoughby for this year's Strictly Come Dancing, and are reportedly offering her a presenting role on the show.
A BBC insider told The Mail on Sunday: "Holly is the golden goose. BBC bosses want her and they have been plotting for some time to get her for their big shows. Last November Holly was said to be getting "wooed" by the BBC, with the ITV star being the BBC's guest of honour at the Variety Club Showbusiness Awards, after being personally invited by BBC content boss Charlotte Moore.
Holly's appearance at the awards ceremony came as the TV presenter was said to be in "crisis talks" with ITV after backlash over claims she “queue jumped” to see the Queen Lying-in-State with This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield.
