The dance show continues to face turmoil over allegations of mistreatment by certain dancers.
Kristina Rihanoff has lifted a lid on what it was like to prepare for Strictly Come Dancing , following the decision to give competing stars chaperones during rehearsals.
"You have to learn several different dances and you're already exhausted and your celebrity partner is exhausted, and you just feel the heat," Rihanoff said. It's a really, really pressurised environment and a lot of dancers struggle with mental health."She added: "You shouldn’t really get onto your celebrity. You can just say, OK, let's take a moment. Let's walk away from each other, have a cup of tea, and just restart in a couple of minutes.

My intense passion and determination to win might have affected my training regime. During the latest series, controversy arose between Giovanni and partner Amanda Abington, who initially left the show early for "medical reasons". It was then revealed the actress allegedly suffered post-traumatic stress disorder due to Penrice's "abrasive" training methods, calling him "nasty and awful".
