They sparked concern among some fans of the BBC One dance contest
Some Strictly Come Dancing fans considered switching off the latest live show over one judge's actions. Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and head judge Shirley Ballas were all back in the ballroom on Saturday night .
And it was very much a rollercoaster of the night with some big hitters and some not quite making the mark this week. Actor Layton Williams will be feeling on top of the world as he smashed this year’s Strictly record by achieving the highest score of the series so far. Actors Nigel Harman and Adam Thomas did not fall far behind – scoring 33 and 32 each alongside their partners. The improvement in former EastEnders star Nigel's salsa to Suavemente by Elvis Crespo compared with his performance last week alongside partner Katya Jones was noted by judges.
But speaking of Anton, it was the show's former longest-serving professional dancer who sparked criticism as he got over-excited and ran of words for to feedback after some of the performances, opting for some rather varying noises and movements, in the dancer's usually comical fashion.
