Jonathan Goodwin has been left in a wheelchair for life after getting crushed between two burning cars during rehearsals of America's Got Talent in October 2021
An escapologist who was left paralysed attempting to perform a stunt during rehearsals of America's Got Talent has started legal action against producers.
He was supposed to escape a strait jacket while upside down 30ft in the air in between two suspended cars.He was left with a dislocated spinal cord, which left him a paraplegic. "The producers and staff working on this show could have taken a number of simple steps to ensure Jonathan's safety. The 43-year-old competed on Season 13 of Britain's Got Talent in 2019. He made it to the finals and finished in eighth place.
