Strictly's Helen Skelton under-fire from BBC bosses for plugging advertisements on Morning Live
BBC Morning Live host Helen Skelton has been slapped down by bosses after she flouted strict BBC guidelines by plugging brands while working inside the show's Salford studio.
Helen, who also hosts a Radio 5 show, reportedly removed the tags on Saturday and is adamant she had not been paid for the endorsements. Other items advertised in the BBC studios on Friday which went against their guidelines included cakes made by 2018 Great British Bake Off winner Briony May Williams.
The entrepreneur and podcaster reportedly wore bling from jeweller Craftd and went on to do a financial deal with its owners.
