Strictly Come Dancing professional Janette Manrara has opened up about the text exchange between her and former dance partner Will Bayley following his bombshell claims about their time on the show.
36-year-old Will alleged he was advised to jump from a table against his better judgment and his coach's advice, resulting in a serious injury. In light of these surprising assertions, Janette has spoken out on how she reached out to Will with a heartfelt message. She shared with The Sun, "I messaged him because we are really good friends. He immediately said: 'I'm so sorry, it's not meant to look like that. I don't want you to feel like it's you,".
Paralympian Will made claims that his former Strictly dance partner Janette seemed to disregard his concerns over a risky jump in their choreography, saying she pushed him despite his physical limitations, which were fully communicated. However, his attempt to follow through led to an injurious outcome, as Will describes: "We practiced a few times and I was really careful. But then Janette said my jump was 'rubbish' and I needed to smile more and go for it and show a bit of passion."
